Bhugarbha(Womb of the Earth)

The work is a contemplation about the abundance, fertility, and life-sustaining potential of the earth and how we share an inseparable relationship with the planet and its resources. It recalls the sheer magic and wonder of the capacity of the earth to constantly produce precious metals, minerals, food, and fuels for billions of years in its deepest trenches. The artist has used mathematical concepts such as the Prime Number and the Fibonacci number series to create the feeling of an interconnected complex unit comprising of innumerable dots, arranged in curves, spirals, and lines. These dots symbolize the quintessential human presence.
