Crossings-II(Set of 3)

The work ponders the plight of millions of displaced people across the world who are forced to live a life of refugees. They migrate several miles crossing land, rivers, and seas, escaping barred wires and the scrutiny of border security forces in the darkness of the night, longing for life itself. 

The artist has used mathematical ideas and concepts like the Fibonacci series and fractal geometry to create dense and deep environments of land, water, and air, suggesting what it feels like when one navigates insurmountable distances in the hope of the destination that they can call 'home'.
