Trilokini 8

Butterflies, one of the leitmotifs in this body of work, are considered as bio-indicators of the health of an eco-system. They are highly sensitive creatures and react immediately to even subtle changes in the environment. They are the first ones to leave if a particular habitat becomes unsustainable. Trilokini is part of my present series “Cosmic Bloom: Iconography for a Re-imagined World Order”. This body of work consists of sculpture, installation and video art.
