UNITY IN DIVERSITY

My work is an integration of line, colour, shape and space with which I address architectural space and cultural memory. Sources for my imagery abound in the world of architecture, in fragments of everyday life, in the pattern and colour traditions of multiple cultures. I want to put multiple memories in play through imagery that invokes the camouflaging clarities of geometry. I use modes of abstraction to de- allegorize my use of any particular source. This typical rendering process follows a schema that requires a balance between the rational and the intuited.
