The fight between human races always revolved around power to rule a land or to occupy a land. This work is a very sensitive approach to capture the ideology of ownership. How with the use of different types of fences we try to occupy a land or segregate/divide the earth. The miniature installation has been created with the use of collected dead Tulsi plant from my house. Tulsi has a religious significance in Indian culture. The dead Tulsi plants are metaphorically used as the dead guards or soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect this piece of land. The woods are tied with the collected human hair which was once a part of a body. The fragile structure is a reminder of our mortal life.
