Lotus and Sparrow Greeting

I was inspired to paint sparrows in their natural habitat. Back in the large ponds in my hometown Kerala, its common to see sparrows pecking on the inside of the lotus flower and perching about. The homeliness of sparrows and beauty of lotuses made me want to put together this composition.
