This painting shows a woman getting ready as a part of her everyday mundane life. Its an everyday ritual for her and inadvertently we miss the beauty potion in this surreal moment in time. We get up, dress up and age up all the while but do not stop and notice the simplistic beauty involved even in this small everyday moment. This painting tries to capture just that where the face of the woman is straight with none expressions, yet she makes it a point that she looks the same in her everyday life.
