The Sadhvis

I have presented this painting from my “Indian Village Women” series. It is a depiction of two “sadhvi”s. Sadhvi is a Sanskrit term meaning a virtuous and pious woman. Most sadhvi’s choose to focus on a spiritual life. They spend most of their lives worshipping God, and reciting and singing hymns in His praise.
