Maricha Vadh

This work references 'Maricha Vadh', the killing of the demon Maricha, who had taken the form of a golden deer to attract Sita, at the hands of Lord Rama. This ensues a turn of events that would lead to her abduction by Ravana. The work showcases the nature of deceptions that makes mankind pursue illusory gains and enter a vortex of a dark emptiness. Human life is a constant struggle to overcome falsehoods disguised as the truth. The work beautifully captures this in a symbolic way.
