I am Jayanthi neeli. Born in Srikalahasthi, Andhra Pradesh in 1993, growing up in a family
with a long history in kalamkari, I was immersed in the intricate techniques and vibrant
colours of this traditional art form from a young age. While pursuing a different path
professionally. My passion for art never waned. In the past few years I started
developing my skills with a unique artistic style that blends traditional kalamkari
elements with contemporary influences.
As an artist I search in to the rich tapestry of mythological themes, drawing inspiration
from the timeless narratives and stories of ancient history. My work is influenced by the
intricate patterns and vibrant colours of kalamkari paintings, which I incorporate into my
paintings to create a contemporary reinterpretation of traditional art form.
Through my paintings, I am to evoke a sense of wonder and contemplation, inviting
viewers to explore the profound connections between mythology and the human experience.
