CONCRETE DINNER

Since the wake of the civilization, India has been predominantly an agricultural country. The Indus valley civilization delineates the prosperous tradition of agricultural activities and its development. India has continued the tradition of producing grains for her own people and also for others. We all know very well that we have to protect and preserve agricultural land for the posterior generation. These has to be active and comprehensive efforts from all sections of society. we definitely need to make the world better place to live in for our farmers community, otherwise the human civilization will not be able to sustain much longer. The long drawn culture is now facing hindrance from many events like natural hazards, faulty government policies, and concretization and over urbanisation etc...These has destabilized the life of farmer to such as extent that they are compelled to shift their generation drawn occupation. There are even news of farmer suicides, which terribly shake the nation. This is a burning issue in many other places and not India alone, now days it's a global phenomenon. Increasing price of food is a major issue the world is facing today. The root cause behind the problem is rising brutal urbanization. The demon called concretization gobbling up or engulfing agricultural land and has forced humanity towards an imminent extinction. I belong to an agriculture lineage and these development raises concerns in me (and feed into my work and expression). It's quite sonorous to portray the grim picture of today's reality, where farmers are living a life of hell on earth. The government (Authorities and policy makers) has shown its Indifference in addressing these issues. There is a clear case of policy paralysis, government pretending to be agricultural. It's a scar upon humanity that we have not able to protect our farmers, who run the society and civilization.
