BUDDHA - A JOURNEY TOWARDS ENLIGHTENMENT SERIES: 1

Buddha (Bodhi = wisdom) is not just a name! It’s a way of living life peacefully. A peaceful and satisfied soul can only attain enlightenment. We, human beings, don't take birth just to get name, fame and success. We take birth to resolve our past karmas through learning, self-love and practicing forgiveness. This leads our life towards wisdom. In this journey, a strong foundation is the base for attaining enlightenment. If our roots are not deeply cleaned, we always feel unsafe, unsecured and ultimately end up living in low self-esteem forever. In this art work, Gautama is meditating on Mudras of the root chakra. He overcame his fears by the knowledge gained in this meditative state. This led to a solid foundation of faith in root chakra and paved the way to begin his journey towards enlightenment.
