Between two surgery

These artworks were created to reflect and represent the conversion of pain into strength and positivity between the two laparotomy surgeries during the first surgery the pain was immense and unbearable. While reflecting on this during recovery, I realised that if I ever felt this kind of pain again. I would turn it into inspiration for my work. When i had to have the second surgery i did exactly that and turned it into inspiration, because in the form of an alter ego. One understands that this treatment will happen only with the body present. Ultimately you are ready for this pain, and when the pain does come, it doesn't hurt as much, because you have now learnt and understood how to convert pain into positivity and eventually positivity into strength.
