Priyanka Bardhan

I am Priyanka currently based out of NewDelhi , India. I am a professional Artist with the belief that art is the connection to humanity and a way to channelize the divinity within. I had an inclination for creativity right from my childhood most of which was spent in the Kolkata WestBengal , India as i was born there. I am a political science honours graduate from Calcutta University and had been associated with Birla Academy of Art and Culture Kolkata. I predominantly use acrylic on canvas , pencil sketch and mixed media for my artistic expressions. My art works are based on Indian painting styles and themes since these are not just a reflection of the indigenous lifestyle but a perfect example of artistic expression through simple yet distinct compositions , i also try to experiment by blending and fusing the indian traditional style and themes with abstract art and cubism styles to give a unique impression of my own.
