Suhana Safar is a satirical commentary on the transportation system in the city of Kolkata. The image of everyday commuters, risking their lives as they hang from the bus doors and windows. The work is also inspired by the vintage photograph of colonial Calcutta. It proves that the inconvenient situation has not changed much through the years.
