Sumit Mehndiratta

Sumit Mehndiratta, B 1986, New Delhi is an Indian multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores transformation through gesture, material experimentation, and psychological inquiry. Rooted in abstraction, his work extends beyond the canvas into installation and sculptural interventions, where unconventional tools, found objects, and tactile processes become vehicles for emotional expression. Balancing spontaneity with intention, he investigates themes of resilience, repair, identity, and the invisible forces that shape human experience. His work has been exhibited internationally through galleries, artist residencies, and independent projects, contributing to contemporary conversations on materiality, perception, and the relationship between inner experience and physical form. Sumit Mehndiratta Lives and works between New Delhi and Berlin.
