Samba Prasad Biswas

Samba Prasad Biswas (b. 1982) is primarily a painter based in West Bengal. Samba completed his art education at Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. Samba has been working as a full-time artist for 14 years. In Samba's artwork, color and geometry are continuously explored to find harmony, rhythm, and balance. He attempts to bring to life the colors and patterns by drawing inspiration from several sources, including architectural structures, the symphony of classical and fusion music, the color and pattern traditions of multiple cultures, and fragments of everyday life. Samba's artwork has been exhibited nationally and globally. He has received several prestigious awards, including Rabindra Bharati University Gold Medals, the Prafulla Dahanukar Art Foundation State Award, and the West Bengal Government’s Charukala Merit Award, etc.
