Hi, I'm Mayur Kakrecha, an artist and interior designer passionate about creating meaningful visual experiences. My work combines creativity, aesthetics, and thoughtful design to transform ideas into impactful spaces and artworks. I am driven by a constant exploration of new concepts, materials, and perspectives, aiming to create work that inspires connection, emotion, and imagination. My practice is rooted in translating inner psychological and emotional states into abstract visual forms. Working intuitively with oil pastels, I explore subconscious movement, emotional memory, and the fluid relationship between thought and sensation. Rather than depicting external reality, my work navigates internal landscapes—spaces where emotions overlap, transform, and coexist. Organic shapes, layered colors, and rhythmic lines operate as visual metaphors for awareness, inner conflict, perception, and emotional flow. Dark grounds function as subconscious space, allowing vibrant forms to emerge as moments of realization, tension, and emotional release. Recurrent circular and eye-like motifs suggest cycles of thought, observation, and evolving consciousness. Each artwork develops through a process-driven approach, guided by emotional impulses rather than predetermined forms. The resulting compositions act as visual records of inner journeys—open to interpretation, yet grounded in shared human experience.
