Landscape series 1 to 12

In recent body of works, the artist Bansi is trying to represent solitude of being. Large landscapes and vastness of the space and nature represent isolation and detachment in his works. The memories of the infinite looking paddy fields, deserts and farms that he wandered as a child, revisits him through his works. Bansi's longing and nostalgia for these spaces, helps him create these abstract- or unreal landscapes. Mark making and scratching are major elements of his process. Rural areas and countryside inspire him a lot which reflects in his works.
