Inseparable Atoms

ARTIST STATEMENT
My works encapsulates the psychological and emotional turmoil of the human condition with high forcefulness of the flow of charcoal contours and the minimalism of the shades of dry pastel.
But the recently I would like to express the same conditions in another medium that is acrylic with an high intensity of bright colours where my experiment is to express the same turmoil of human emotions the with same depth and feel.
Bodies entwined together like a complicated irregular network of passages in which it is difficult to find one's way. The masculine and the feminine movements of the work that seemingly entangled, leap out of nowhere, pertaining to pleasure, pain, desire, anger, suppression, fear, resistance are universal and hence, while portraying them I stay gender neutral. The suffering, the pain and the pleasure of an individual is being shared as the fundamental issues of mankind. -Yamini
