Darbaar

The current series I am working on is a fusion of the traditional Indian Mughal Miniature paintings and the contemporary realities the time we are living in, We are living in the time of Virtual exaggeration where almost every thing has been driven or controlled by the virtual world from human emotions to cultural values everything and the gadgets are becoming part of our lives so quickly that we are totally dependent on those, the gadgets are now much more like our biological organs always a part of our being. In these neo-miniature paintings i have depicted all these things in a subtle and humble way. I believe that Art has the power to shocase harsh realities also in beautiful manner, and that is also beauty of life a balance between reality and Aesthetic sensibility, technology and human values, stories and fragments of bitter truth.
