The Dark Leaf

My paintings are just at the intersection of Everyday Elements and abstraction. I am fascinated in creating space and distance that feels like the world around us but is ambiguous, general, and abstracted. In my painted world I want Sharp lines, Crooked lines, Soft curve lines, geometric shapes to intersect, overlap, pile-up, and ultimately create a sense of visual distance and depth that we can identify with. Dull and Bright color combinations satisfy me while painting. Among all the mediums Acrylic colors have my love.
