Kamdenu

Artist - G. Ganesha Chary  -The ever so vibrant and effervescent colour palette in the works by Ganesh enlivens the picture surface. It beams a widespread spotlight on all the forms, in which they effulge with almost an innate luminescence. Hues juxtaposed together are balanced and distributed aptly to create a flow within the space and engage the viewer to observe all the details. This work is based on Kamdhenu series, a celestial being from mythology which was brought to earth during the churning of the ocean. The representation of this popular, auspicious, and beloved cow, believed to bestow everything that could be thought of, gets recreated in all its innate charm. And yet, it remains the artists very own Kamdhenu with his hallmark bunch of flowers adorned lovingly on its head. Sprightly flowers glisten like precious stones and suggest an apparent trance of enlightenment.
