Burning Farms

This work highlights the way nature is constantly exploited without giving it a breathing space to recover and renew and how the crop-burning also vitiates the environment for humans as well, in a mutually destructive engagement. We can see the destruction that a heavy cover of smog and smoke brings to our environment, with no safe place left, except a return to nature and sustainable existence. The pale background highlights this environmental crisis by removing whiteness from the canvas, as the haze takes over.
