Journey (Set of 2)

My series titled Journey is an effort to chart out the changing physical, cultural and social landscapes from the rural to the urban and from the past to the present.

In the current series, I have used line and dot technique and embossing and experimented with varied mediums and surfaces like cloth,  hot press on board, acrylic colours, natural colours . I have also used the tribal Idital technique in this series and creatively juxtaposed these with the various cultural iconographical details and referents as well as the vintage art objects. The series is replete with visual surprises as well as ruminative nostalgia depicting my own physical and emotional journey as I traverse spaces.
